1 in 5 could test negative for Covid-19

Smoke; mirrors; unreliability and politicians willing to tell any lie necessary ?

I understand science not having all the answers. This is brand new and a part of science is trying and failing until you reach the truth.
I don't understand politicians avoiding the truth. It serves no one. Not even themselves.

@Ynotisay So many stop starts with this 'government following models' and then rejecting them because the numbers here in the UK don't stack up.

Then you have different Ministers coming out on tv every night with an 'update' which seems to fly in the face and contradict what they said yesterday !

All this and they're hoping kids will be back at school this week so their parents can go back to work in conditions that can't guarantee their safety.

A nonsense after nonsense piece of living history.

Ugh it’s all such a shambles, I’m waiting on their recent new rule result and sadly it’s rising again, but the intelligent folk already new this. The Covidiots however.... erm yeah I’ll leave it there lol

Here in Virginia, cases are rising....but we’re going into stage 2 of reopening on Friday. SMH.

@SmartKat The city I'm closest to (pop: 5K) makes their money on tourism. Despite the County seeing a consistent rise in cases, and being the worst performing county in the state when it comes to testing, the city made the decision to publicly defy the Governor's orders and reopen for business how they saw fit. It was all about tax revenue. So it was tens of thousands of people streaming in to small area, NOT just that city, over Memorial Day weekend. Maybe 25% of visitors wore masks. Of course, these are the "patriotic" folks who just love America. Blew my mind.

@Ynotisay At least in my immediate locality, most people are wearing masks now.

@SmartKat Good to hear. People need to do the right thing for others. No matter what politicians with their eyes on the money say.
