Reade's Law Firm No Longer Representing Her

The law firm of Doug Wigdor, had been representing Tara Reade, free of charge, and claimed that they don't expect to be paid for their services. They also represented some of of Harvey Weinstein's victims.

On Wednesday, they said that they will no longer be representing her. Their statement:
Our decision, made on May 20, is by no means a reflection on whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms. Reade. We also believe that to a large extent Ms. Reade has been subjected to a double standard in terms of the media coverage she has received. Much of what has been written about Ms. Reade is not probative of whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted her, but rather is intended to victim-shame and attack her credibility on unrelated and irrelevant matters.
Looks like the reason behind the decision, is that Reade's life/education story, does not check out. She lied about having an undergraduate degree, from Antioch University in Seattle, and about being a visiting professor there (she performed secretarial duties).

She also said that she received a bachelor of arts degree from Antioch University in Seattle under the auspices of a "protected program," personally working with the former president of the school to ensure her identity was protected while she obtained credits for her degree. The university said that no such program ever existed.

This may prompt a series of lawsuits, in California, where she was presented as a state/prosecution witness, in several cases, and may force the state to re-open these cases.

If she lied about that, what else did she lie about?

@SmartKat she also claimed that she told people when it happened but when they were asked they knew nothing about it.
