I like this precedent they're setting, though. If a conservative ever gets the governorship again, people that don't like him can just storm the gates brandishing firearms as a scare tactic.

@bijouxbroussard Coups have no particular relationship with weaponry. Some are bloodless, others are armed revolts - the one in Ukraine was done with fists, more or less.

These are protestors, with guns, because they're insecure manchildren. They won't use them in any organized fashion.

@QuixoticSoul These folks have the same “law and order” mindset that thought previous protesters deserved to be shot by authorities for even protesting. During the BLM protests I saw a lot of that particular sentiment voiced. Imagine if they’d been armed. 😳
