@daisymay There was never a real followup to unite the right. Many of the major figures involved immediately fell on hard times, and the various organizations became more fringe than ever. That was a high point of recent white nationalist wave that was building up, and was supposed to launch a nationwide spree of activism, etc. Instead, they're more fractured and irrelevant than ever. It's possible that there is another wave of these chucklefucks building, but in the near term, Charlottesville was a huge blow.
The moment one of these dumbasses pulls the trigger, any power these idiots have as a quasi-organized group will disappear in an instant, and I suspect they're not quite so retarded as to not understand this.

At Standing Rock, we protested peacefully, no weapons of any kind were allowed in camp. We were shot with rubber bullets, water canons, attacked by dogs, and had loud noise squealing all the time, we took it peacefully to save the water and burial sites.
These idiots are risking their own lives, as well as the lives of others, with guns during a pandemic for people who are egging them on from the SAFETY OF THIR OWN HOMES and the idiots don't get that nor see it!! They don't get that to their rich and powerful overlords who don't give a shit about them, they are nothing but inanimate objects, to fight a war they KNOW they will lose!
Frankly, I don't care about them, I DO, however, care about the people they are putting at risk. those 'astroturf protesters' are losers who hate America and Americans.

Never did I think it would lead to this. A bunch of crazy misinformed protestors blocking ambulance vehicles from getting to the hospital and storming into a state capital building with their guns as an attempt to threaten politicians to reopen their state. All because they think staying at home for several weeks due to a virus (which they have no immunity to) equals marital law.

@bijouxbroussard Coups have no particular relationship with weaponry. Some are bloodless, others are armed revolts - the one in Ukraine was done with fists, more or less.
These are protestors, with guns, because they're insecure manchildren. They won't use them in any organized fashion.

@QuixoticSoul These folks have the same “law and order” mindset that thought previous protesters deserved to be shot by authorities for even protesting. During the BLM protests I saw a lot of that particular sentiment voiced. Imagine if they’d been armed. 😳
