@revenant Nah, in fact we had 20k deaths of hypertension last month over here, it became severe all of a sudden for so many people that we had to fill the hospitals
@revenant For real tho, it's been serious enough to overwhelm the hospitals in Lombardy, which is/was one of the regions with the best healthcare service over here. And Italy healthcare in general doesn't score bad worldwide...
@Elessar ahahah noo it is the French healthcare which is the best in the world 😁..frankly I do not believe much of what governments are telling us now.
@revenant The situation in France is quite critical too; maybe not at the level of Lombardy (yet?) but for sure they're not taking it lightheartedly at all either.
@revenant They're proportional to how long you wait before implementing them well. South Korea handled the situation as a whole pretty fast, the west in general waited too long.
@revenant Oh yes. Over here we could've closed much sooner but we had a lot of people against it. In the end, though, we've been forced to close everything anyway - minus essential workplaces.
@revenant I'm in one of the most hit regions, but nowhere as bad as the first for cases. We're fine for now. People I know had it in the form of a very bad flu and recovered, some had no symptoms at all, and others (luckily no one I know) got it severe and died from it.
