Have You Completed Your Census Yet?

I did.
I did it online.
It took a few minutes.

I remember the big stink the left was making about the censsus earlier.
It's racist.
It's an invasion of privacy.
It's unnecessary.
It's xenophobic.
It's genderphobic.
Orange man bad.

I didn't see any of that.

Did you find the census to be the least bit offensive>

The left was apoplectic about adding the question "are you a US Citizen". They were afraid of losing the "non citizen" count to determine funding and representation apportionment in congress. So the question of citizenship was not on the questionnaire.

@Spoiledbrat Actually you can. The constitution makes no mention of a requirement for citizenship in the census and is someone seriously going to make the argument that the framers didn't understand the difference?

Supreme Court agreed.

That's not accurate. The Supreme Court didn't approve of the Dept of Commerce reasons for wanting the information. In fact, they made it pretty clear they would like another stab at the case.
