@quitwhendone Exactly true........and it's where the idea of an egg and the concept of Christian rebirth was comingled to form the idea that was a good way to celebrate that day. As a chick comes alive after being inside of a "tomb"...so did Christ.

@anythingoes477 Well, Mr. Christ did not "come alive" after his death by execution. However, I understand why the Catholic church chose to add the Easter resurrection into their mythology. It was clever.
