Strap In For The Next Virus Phase!

Signs are pointing to the coming end of the virus crisis.
They're already talking about when and how to return to normalcy.
The dems of course are in a perpetual stage of rage,
And panicking over yet another Trump victory.
Trump did everything right and while we lost lives,
There are far fewer than dooms day dems originally predicted.

So, now what?
They can't, they won't allow this crisis end without spewing
More anger, making up more lies, predicting more doom.

We know some moves toward normal life are on the horizon.
Maybe they'll just open the doors of isolation and let us all out, all at once.
Maybe, they'll reopen in in stages. You know, let younger, healthier people out first - leaving older folks in quarantine for a while longer.
Maybe they'll let certain work groups out first.
Maybe, they'll decide to keep us all locked up a while longer - just to be safe.

I predict, WHATEVER Trump says - the dems will screech and wail that he is wrong - that he's targeting races, economic groups, favoring big business, blah, blah blah.

So, the question is, what do you think the upcoming return to normalcy will look like? When the invisible enemy is declared 'defeated', what will the dems complain about?

First, as to the virus. If things get better, I'm still concerned about a second set of problems in the fall.

Second, Trump, imo, is a separate, but related threat to the nation (and the world).

@MistyCee He is the man of this hour. Thank God for Trump!

f things get better,
good, good - ignore the obvious improvement.

Excellent - sew the seeds of hopelessness!

Trump, is a threat to the nation (and the world).

And, the Grand Finale!

Mister Mistee - you are a leftist extraordinaire!

He really is.
I can't wait to witness the economy roaring back to life!
SW-User
@Budwick I really hope it does... but it is really all in HIS hands.... 🙏😍

So far this tragedy has been handled by adults as well as one could hope. Fortunately Dems have been excluded. @SW-User

@jackjjackson You are absolutely correct - again - still.

I don’t see a thing about the President in the initial post yet you deem it necessary to take an off topic shot at the President. If you don’t care for the President why not start your own thread? Inasmuch as this is about the dead and dying it seems to me that your priorities are misplaced. @MistyCee

@jackjjackson Great challenge!
TexChik · F
@MistyCee oh please...anything or anyone that thwarts the socialist agenda like Trump does is more than welcome.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@TexChik You are SO right Tex!

Like Trump has said - "America will NEVER be a socialist country!"
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Thank you for the kind words sir. @Budwick
Budwick · 70-79, M
@jackjjackson You bet Jackson!
IMO, you are a bright, shining star on this forum.
You're a lot nicer than me to to even those that disagree.
And, I admire your patience.

I don't mean to quibble - and I certainly don't intend to stand up for Mr.MistyCee - but the reality is that mass viral infections usually do have 2 "waves". I was a Clinical Scientist for over 20 years, and have experience in Emergency & Disaster Planning (including Pandemic and Bioterorism). Still not an 'expert', but fairly well informed and experienced.
I have predicted all along that it will die down by mid-May, and make a resurgence in October. They usually do (see: H1N1, 2009-2010) The key was mitigating the number of critical patients to prevent a "surge" of ventilator-dependent cases...while allowing the population to be exposed to develop a 'Herd' immunity. It is a balancing act...
By this time next year, it will be part of our 'seasonal' flu that kills 13,000 to 60,000 Americans every year, just as H1N1 is now. (per CDC website numbers)
The President and his cadre performed extremely well, as did a few Dems (very few). Most of the Dem leadership, of course, pathetically simply saw it as a vehicle to enact more of their socialist agenda and early on began plotting on how to use it against Trump.

IMO - what you call quibbling, is informed commentary!

Thanks Oregn!
@jackjjackson Ahem:

jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Thank you again sir. All we can do is try to help them help themselves. @Budwick
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Aren’t we by isolating lessening the benefits of a herd immunity? @oregnsrb
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You screeched his prediction was correct. Why do the Dems have to be so divisive and oppositional and seek political gain in the midst of death and tragedy? @MistyCee
oregnsrb · 61-69, M
Yes, but it is a trade off. Without some isolating, the rapid spread of the virus would cause a commensurate increase in critical cases - simply by percentages. That surge is what would overwhelm healthcare systems and cause ventilator 'rationing' and overflowing hospitals. It is a trade-off of risk vs. benefit.
My personal belief is that our 'enlightened' and entitled society probably HAD to be frightened into increasing social distancing, otherwise too many people would have ignored it and continued with celebrating Mardi Gras, Chinese Lunar New Year, etc. etc. @jackjjackson
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Makes sense to me. Excellent explanation! @oregnsrb

Oh, absolutely. I can't understand why people can't seem to see how pathetically blatant and transparent their intentions are! So many of the dims are enjoying their power-play - the Gov. of Washington actually banned FISHING!! @TexChik
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
CA has more registered voters than citizens. Imagine the mail in ballot shenanigans. @TexChik
Budwick · 70-79, M
@jackjjackson LOL! I'm pretty sure dead voters exceed live one in Chicago!

@Budwick Do you accept your Social Security every month? How about Medicare or Medicaid. Those are social programs. If you were so set against socialism, you would not take one dime from the government.
