Strap In For The Next Virus Phase!

Signs are pointing to the coming end of the virus crisis.
They're already talking about when and how to return to normalcy.
The dems of course are in a perpetual stage of rage,
And panicking over yet another Trump victory.
Trump did everything right and while we lost lives,
There are far fewer than dooms day dems originally predicted.

So, now what?
They can't, they won't allow this crisis end without spewing
More anger, making up more lies, predicting more doom.

We know some moves toward normal life are on the horizon.
Maybe they'll just open the doors of isolation and let us all out, all at once.
Maybe, they'll reopen in in stages. You know, let younger, healthier people out first - leaving older folks in quarantine for a while longer.
Maybe they'll let certain work groups out first.
Maybe, they'll decide to keep us all locked up a while longer - just to be safe.

I predict, WHATEVER Trump says - the dems will screech and wail that he is wrong - that he's targeting races, economic groups, favoring big business, blah, blah blah.

So, the question is, what do you think the upcoming return to normalcy will look like? When the invisible enemy is declared 'defeated', what will the dems complain about?

WTF does this have to do with politics? Why is EVERYTHING here used as a platform to attack the party one doesn't support. It's really pathetic.

That being said, Covid19 is a HEALTH crisis. It's over when it's over. Not when Trump wills it to be over, not when Democrats want it to be over, not when it's convenient for US for it to be over.

@MeowsoliniReturns Good for you Meow!
Nancy would be proud.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Well put. 👍. @MeowsoliniReturns
MeowsoliniReturns · 51-55, F
@Budwick Yeah. Good for me.
MeowsoliniReturns · 51-55, F
@monte3 Thank you.

@Budwick proud of what?

I though you wanted intelligent discussion about this. I’m not sure that your comment makes the grade.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx
proud of what?

Proud of you Joey!
Look at you!
Jumping with both feet!
With nothing of substance to add.
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick for right now, I’m trying to understand your actual point.

It’s ironic that you’ve been complaining about others making this pandemic political by talking only about politics.

You do not appear to be interested in making things better.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx I am so sorry for cloaking the question in totally clear and obvious words.

So, the question is, what do you think the upcoming return to normalcy will look like? When the invisible enemy is declared 'defeated', what will the dems complain about?
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick I suppose then they will complain about the same things the Republicans continue to harp about: controlling the government and our lives.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx Trust me, there are no conservatives comfortable with being shutdown.

It just seems the best idea right now for self preservation.

Now, when Obama offered end of life counseling over treatment - THAT was controlling lives!
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick oh. Now I get it. Because, anyone who's not a conservative loves the idea of the economy going to shit. Yeah, that's a valid point you have there. 🙄

As for end of life care, speaking as someone who is married to someone who takes care of cancer patients and who's daughter is involved in cancer clinical trials, I can tell you for absolute certain that insurance companies put up blockades on treatment all the damn time. There are also families that have been sold a load of goods that "fighting cancer" is a thing. It's not something that one fights... and sometimes, end of life care is better than treatment.

But, according to you, I'm a liar. So, maybe I'm just making this up.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx
I can tell you for absolute certain that insurance companies put up blockades on treatmen

People can go around insurance companies.
I'm thinking a government in control of healthcare and demanding end of life care would not take it well when a citizen didn't follow directives.

It's not surprising to me that you feel like a liar.
But, I don't think I have made that accusation.
JeanAnna · F
@MeowsoliniReturns Good reply and very accurate. The only complaints I've heard are from both Republicans and Democrats regarding the lack of supplies, lack of testing and the many people who have died.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JeanAnna Well, and course then there's YOUR complaints.
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick
People can go around insurance companies.

Well, this is new. Tell me how that works.

Perhaps the wealthy can go around insurance companies, but even then, it's more common that the wealthy pull strings for insurance companies to make exceptions.

Trust me my friend, I don't feel like a liar. Lying requires effort that I would rather use elsewhere.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx
Lying requires effort that I would rather use elsewhere.

It is, eh?

Then how about not claiming to understand how to get around insurance companies in once sentence and illustrating one method how to do it ion the next!

What a Noob!
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick Ummmm... so, I need to clarify this?

There are no practical ways to get around insurance companies, unless you have wealth to pay for it yourself.

Are you suggesting that only the wealthy should get treatment?

Not precisely sure how you can sincerely call this a lie. You might think you're being clever. But you're not.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx To deny it can be done, then illustrate how it COULD be done - is totally dishonest.
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick When you said "people can go around insurance companies", did you mean all people? I concluded that you meant all people.

As a matter of actual fact, all people cannot go around insurance companies. Merely a privileged few.

I'm not the dishonest one here. It is you that is being disingenuous. What's disturbing is that you may not be doing it intentionally.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx You still don't see the difference, do you?
Or, you do but won't admit it.
How sad - they gotcha!
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick I literally see the difference. Do you?
monte3 · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx I think we all should sadly conclude that Jackbud IS just doing this intentionally
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JoeyFoxx Yes - getting around insurance companies is possible.
Getting around government is not.
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@Budwick There are ways around the government, but that wasn’t what we were talking about.
