The stock market response is actually irrelevant to anything as insignificant as Bernie stepping aside. No longer is stock market response predicated on a bunch of old men sitting around the stock exchange watching the news from TV's overhead, to then send the markets reeling when some dumb ass gets dumber. The whole thing is computer generated with the exception being the day-traders whom are all small time, wannabe market moguls.

@swirlie Wrong... the stock market moves on instant news and announcements all the time, when a socialist decides he's not going to convince the american people of his shady, ridiculous politics it causes instant confidence in investors

@strongbow

The stock market response is manufactured on the fly and purely irrelevant to world events.

That's why stock market response is always so unpredictable to what one might otherwise expect to see happen in the market from world news.

@swirlie lol.... you dont at all understand how and when it works, it fluctuates off of current news..good or bad, all the time... i day trade and see it all the time

@strongbow

As an amateur stock trader, which is what a day trader actually is, you are not privy to anything whatsoever that goes on behind the walls of any stock exchange. Stop deluding yourself into thinking that you have an inside track to the workings of a stock exchange and what directly affects it. You don't!

The stock exchange is controlled by computers... not humans anymore! And amateur wannabe stock traders like yourself are actually trading against the algorithmic whims of pre-programmed computer, not from changes to current news good or bad!

The fact that you day trade all the time is completely irrelevant, other than revealing to me that you're out of your league in your chosen sport!

@swirlie Again, you have no idea how the stock market operates and how information is used...i use instant information to trade all the time, its how day trading works
swirlie ·
@strongbow

Again, you are speaking about matters which are strictly out of your league. Give it up! You're only playing a game with yourself!
strongbow · 46-50, M
@swirlie Again, you should not comment on things you know nothing about, and the stock market is one of them
swirlie ·
@strongbow

The fact that you play games with yourself as a day trader, tells me that you simply don't know any better!

@swirlie 😂... thats your comeback? ....🤭
swirlie ·
@strongbow

My comeback is irrelevant to a conversation that has no comprehensive relevance in the first place. What is relevant to the conversation however, is your obtuse perception of how the stock market actually functions in the real world, which of course you're obviously not at all familiar with. Your obtuse perception is a very telling tale of who you are and what you you think you're all about.
strongbow · 46-50, M
@swirlie Again, you bring nothing to the discussion except ignorance, now move along ive got better things to do.... mmkay?
swirlie ·
@strongbow

You have better things to do? Like what? Plan your next trade perhaps?!!!

Truth is, you have absolutely nothing better to do in your life except delude yourself into thinking that you know how to play the stock market, when in fact, it is YOU who is being played BY a multitude of computers!

Hackers like yourself who contribute absolutely nothing but interference to the daily workings of a computerized stock market, really need to re-evaluate your chosen path in this lifetime. Stock trading for you is obviously not your gig, especially when you don't know how it all works.
