Spain is expeeiencing a much higher death rate than China. They have had ten thousand deathsb from ome hundred thousand cases.

Spain is one of the more obese countries in europe and the feal is that obese people are high risk.

i'm sure the obese are at higher risk, but i'd also be interested in the percentages concerning blood types in that region. some populations are type A dense, and it is posited that people with blood type A are more susceptible to, both, infection and dying from the infection. so many factors. the average age of the population weighs in too.

@pentacorn There are certainly some things that need looking at.

For example, how come some people who are affected have reported it's barely as bad as a bad cold or standard flu, and yet others (who have been reportedly healthy previously) have died from it 🤷‍♂️

What are the actual factors involved.

I honestly think they are just too swamped to bother looking for commonalities just yet.

@Quizzical it's a good time to be a research scientist, though. i'm sure this is a great time to get funding! and, like you said, there are some, or many, things that need looking at.
