So everyday seems to be the un-lucky dip which Tory Cabinet Minister will give the press conference.

Each day each one seems to be more emmbarresing than the previous so who do you think will be next?

So sorry, you took some time and I cannot give a good answer....but I pick the Baroness....since it’s a nifty name

@fun4us2b Thank you, and I think that's how they are being picked too!

That’s how I picked out my music growing up....by album cover! @milkymum1

@milkymum1 Better off not listening and wear a mask 😷
milkymum1 · 36-40, F
@fun4us2b We can't even supply the NHS let alone the public
fun4us2b · M
@milkymum1 Same here in US....how the hell did this happen? I had a 12 box of N95 in my garage which I used over the years - now have one left. Everyone says I have one more than they do....
milkymum1 · 36-40, F
@fun4us2b for us 10 years of tory Austerity left the NHS in the mess its in now.
fun4us2b · M
@milkymum1 USA in same boat and we depend on China to make our crap for us. "Globalization" only benefits corporations, end of story.
milkymum1 · 36-40, F
@fun4us2b Same here the UK Government under Major encoraged businesses to go to China for everything even Coal!!!!

The Tories soon moan about Labour but Capitalisum hasn't worked in the uk

@milkymum1 I think having people crammed into factories working cheaply for long hours so we can have cheap iPhones is more exploitation than capitalism...and I think we can see the result. As bad as Trump is, he's the first POTUS to call it what it is and to call factories back to the US. I wouldn't want to debate if he's effective or sincere but calling it out is the most anyone has done so far...
milkymum1 · 36-40, F
@fun4us2b Its part of Capitalisum to do what's been going on for decades, get things made cheaply and sell it at a higher price, end of.

Its ok calling bakc factories back to the USA but the problme is how many people can afford to pay the new price?

As people in the UK are now finding out when things go up they can't afford it like they used to.

@milkymum1 Well for one thing, who really needs a 65 inch TV? Cheap manufacturing has created an addiction and expectation for us to consume things we like and want, but don't really need. As a result, the standard (and cost) of living increases. Much of that stuff distracts us from things like arts, nature, sciences and probably interpersonal relationships...I've heard this called the "30 year war" (coming up on 40 now)
milkymum1 · 36-40, F
@fun4us2b Yes I knwo that but that's part of Capatilisum to have us buying things like plenty have been doing for decades.

Certianlly here in the UK wages haven't kept up with inflation and a lot of people are on minimum wage (£8.72 an hour if your an adult) so most people can ONLY afford to buy the cheap stuff now.
