With doctor salaries in the US being cut at an increasing rate, will this help or hinder efforts to stop the spread of the Trump Pandemic?

The medical professionals I know have a strong sense of duty so it probably will not have an immediate effect. I could see some giving the country a middle finger and leaving after it is over though for basically being abandoned in the trenches.
