In the scheme of things our govt has done rather well (so far) After a couple of days differing our PM stepped up and started issuing orders, got all the States acting as one and acted early. Of course we have the knuckle draggers who went to beaches and clubs. But the govt stepped on all that. And we test 20 times the population (per capita) America do and trace them back to the source whereever possible. The hospitals have all be coordinated and are prepared. Any arrivals from overseas are being isolated in hotels for 2 weeks and guarded. And the message is out, STAY HOME! So hopefully we will be culling the stupid. Most business (apart from essentials are closed.
In the economy side, Businesses and the unemployed are getting help There are delays, but its working. Banks and landlords are being bullied by the govt to cooperate with those in need and money is flowing into peoples accounts, while support charaties are getting a boost.
Best of all we are being INFORMED. It really is sickening to watch the US leadership on this. We are being told over and over, this is going to take at least 6 months.
