Left wing causes like making sure people don't get shafted while they can't work?
Driver2 · M
@OggggO no like giving the Kennedy center money which has nothing. To do with the virus
@Driver2 The Kennedy Center is “left-wing cause” ?
Since when ?
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Driver2 I don't see how it doesn't, if it's closed and the employees still need money to live on.
Driver2 · M
@OggggO then they will be covered by unemployment insurance
Nice try

@Driver2
Kennedy center money which has nothing. To do with the virus
The arts industry, like the airline industry, etc is suffering a huge drop of revenue during the shutdown. The government wants to support its own programs during the shortfall - just as it wants to support some private industries. This is not especially surprising.

Don't worry, that money will be spent and trickle up into the economy, which is the real point of stimulus.

@Driver2 You have info about DC's unemployment laws to prove that claim?
Driver2 · M
@OggggOno reason they should be treated any different than other employees
Driver2 · M
@QuixoticSoul the arts have nothing to do with keeping business going
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Driver2 That doesn't answer the question.
Driver2 · M
@OggggO which question?
