This is always political JJJr If it's the opposition saying that the ones in power are doing a bad job or the ones in power boosting on television how good they are handling things. It's always political. But because you are biased, it's only bad when the others do it.
Mrs Pelosi realized she had either overreached made a faux paux or both lol. The tightening of which companies get money and how and for what and how it may be paid back are all good things. Based on the politicians insider trading a few weeks ago prohibiting Congress and the President from getting any of it is a good idea too. Trying to insert carbon emission rules and the like was playing politics. So far I haven’t seen any evidence of the “their side” as you call it trying the same stunts.@Kwek00

Maybe because if you are going to fund stuff with money that will eventually be payed by the taxpayers, that the taxpayers representatives can make demands on what they want to spend their money on?
Suddenly, a cow runs out onto the road, and a limo driving late at night, hits it head on, and the car comes to a stop. The woman in the back seat, in her usual abrasive manner, says to the Chauffeur, "You get out and check on that poor cow. You were driving." So the chauffeur gets out, checks, and reports that the animal is dead, but it appeared to be very old.
