They were pushing some issues that didn’t pertain to the pandemic...but so was the other side. Both are just trying to push their own agendas while the normal common man is still waiting to see if he’ll be able to,pay his bill next month
Mrs Pelosi realized she had either overreached made a faux paux or both lol. The tightening of which companies get money and how and for what and how it may be paid back are all good things. Based on the politicians insider trading a few weeks ago prohibiting Congress and the President from getting any of it is a good idea too. Trying to insert carbon emission rules and the like was playing politics. That said, a lot of things in there that people are whining about, like student loan relief and expanded tax credits for the poor - are also old fashioned stimulus, and a good idea in the current economic situation.
You know that some people used their savings to pay for their kids college and some people kept their money and made their kids borrow it, right? That all needs to be sorted out in a thoughtful equitable manner.

Nevertheless, the money millions of young adults are paying for their student loans is better off being injected right back into the economy - and the costs have become rather bizarre recently.

@jackjjackson Cogent argument for abortion access? Shit's good for the society, and you live in a society. As an aside, the major opposition comes from people who can't even articulate an argument against the concept without falling back on stone-age superstitions. Watching them get assblasted over it is also a social good in itself.

I told you I don’t have any heroes when it comes to Washington, but you’d have to be blind, or ignorant, to not be able to see instead of concentrating on helping citizens there were additional agendas being pushed @jackjjackson
