Why is everyone in Panic Mode over this Virus

Because it’s the unknown. But its effects on the markets are very real. I lost something like $13,000 from a portfolio in three days. And I’m not rich. So people were in real danger of being wiped out financially because of the panic. You can say what you want about why people “shouldn’t”, that they’re being “irrational” and “overreacting”, probably truthfully. But the facts remain.
