I Like Politics

NY's Governor signs a bill that gives him "expanded" powers to fight corona virus. It sounds like Rahm Emanuel's remark about never letting a crisis go to waste. Cuomo hasn't. But I wonder if as the Chief executive of the state, upon his election see what powers were granted to him, and before any major issue/situation of an emergency nature came to be, that he would have sat down with other politicians from both sides and heads of agencies that would likely be involved, and put and have contingencies in place rather than use this virus as a political mechanism to seize more power.
