Here We Go Again with Trump

He’s lost my support. I’ve gritted my teeth at some of his policies, and still decided to support him because there is no other option, but he’s gone too far with denaturalization of American Citizens. People who came here legally, have been tax paying citizens, some for many decades, or a lifetime, but now they can be stripped of their citizenship and deported for falling foul of the law, in some way. This is not right, and I can no longer support him.

I know I’ll get the Right wing haters, who will say, “you couldn’t be a real Trump supporter,” and the Leftists who will say, “I told you so,” but that doesn’t matter. To the conservatives (and I am one), I say that I’m not a sheep, and when I see authoritarianism like this, I’m done. To the Leftists, I would never support one of your crowd because of their authoritarian policies. It seems Left or Right, authoritarianism is the name of the game, no matter who is in power.

Trump wasn't a bad choice vs Hillary when people didn't know how he'd govern. Now everybody knows he makes things up as he goes and Hillary is gone, so the sensible thing is to vote for someone else. It's a pity Mitt Romney isn't running, he seems like a responsible leader with principles.

I wouldn’t vote for Mitt Romney if he was the last candidate on earth. The man is a Globalist. I have no respect for Globalists. @plungesponge

@Carissimi Which candidate isn't a globalist?

I’m what you would call a genuine Republican, meaning I support and believe in the Republic of the United States, and the Constitution. I used to be a Republican, as in Republican Party, but after I witnessed how they treated Trump, and also did nothing to help the American people, even holding all seats of power for 2-years, I was done with them, and became an independent conservative. I could never vote for a Leftist, so it leaves people like me with no place to go, politically. @plungesponge

@plungesponge Most are Globalists, so still leaves me, and those like me in the same situation...politically homeless.

@Carissimi What did you think of Ron Paul?
Carissimi · 70-79, F
@plungesponge He’s no longer in politics, but I respect Rand Paul, and a handful of other Republicans, but I don’t care for most of them.
