Do you think that having a space force as a military branch is an exaggeration or just a preventive measure?

Does it make the future seem a lot more twisted and macabre or is it an indicator of progress?

My view is that America is flexing it's military muscle. With that comes a certain degree of preventative measure.

It's also an indicator of progress as lots of daily technology we use can find its origins from space technology.

@HannibalAteMeOut yup, bc how many other nations can assert their presence in space? Iran is trying to do something but failed at launching a satellite.
