Do you think that having a space force as a military branch is an exaggeration or just a preventive measure?

Does it make the future seem a lot more twisted and macabre or is it an indicator of progress?

Everyone thumbs their nose at the idea of Space Force until one day General Roth'h'ar Sarris shows up with an entire army of Fatu-Kreys right outside of our atmosphere.
