Whoever the Democrat nominee is , are they likely to face criminal investigation ?

Do you mean the Republicans would launch a phony criminal investigation just to cast aspersion? I guess there's a chance. The administration has co-opted the DOJ for the very purpose recently. But the only one who might have some skeletons would be Bloomberg given his fortune.

@Ynotisay That's exactly what I mean. Remember it's not the 'investigation' they are interested in , simply the announcement of one.

@RodionRomanovitch You're right about that. They know their audience. Wild accusations with no evidence stick with certain types of people. The mere fact that their legal team brought up Biden in the trial is proof of that.
