Did you know?

That democrat voters are not as verbally adept as republicans and that democrat voters are much less scientifically aware than republicans. Only 57% of Americans know that the earth revolves around the sun once a year. 49% of democrats know that which drags down the average significantly.

Trump recently toured the Pearl Harbor monument and didn't what it was for!

FYI - the more educated a person is, the likely they are to be liberal politically.

@badminton That is true. The more education someone has, the more likely they are to oppose Trump and be liberal. Trump feasts on those of lower education, as he made clear in his statement "I love the poorly educated!" Of course he does--they got him elected.

@CookieLuvsBunny Obama did make that mistake. Trump has over 16,000 of them. Do you have 16,000 more made by Obama if there is any equivalency?
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@windinhishair
16000 is just a number you are making up
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@CookieLuvsBunny Rounding off. The actual number of documented lies in public since his inauguration is 16,241 as of January 19, 2020. But since he lies so much, at a pace that is increasing exponentially, and had a State of the Union campaign event where he lied even more frequently, the current estimate as of today would be around 16,600. So you're right, I should be more precise. I'll go with the 16,600 number.

@CookieLuvsBunny Yep. 16,595 more to go. This is going to take a while.

@CookieLuvsBunny If those are true, which I doubt, you've still got another 15,225 to go. And that was from 8 Obama years compared to 3 Trump years, and only counting Trump's lies, not his lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, waste, etc.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@windinhishair If you believe the Washington Post is a credible source you have more problems than you can deal with.
I am not a huge Trump supporter, but he is no more dishonest than the previous half dozen presidents
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@CookieLuvsBunny If you can't accept facts, you have more problems than can be corrected. Trump is by far the worst, most dishonest president we have ever had. Bar none. And second place isn't even close. Trump is completely amoral.

@windinhishair
One example. LBJ lied about the U.S. involvement in Vietnam and that resulted in thousands of young men dying in a pointless war
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@CookieLuvsBunny He absolutely did. McNamara was even worse. Both of them should be ashamed with what they did. But LBJ believed in the Constitution and in the rule of law.

Trump's lies are more insidious, like lying about how they are treating immigrants along the border, or allowing pesticides to be used that are documented to kill the children of farm laborers. No one even pays attention to his lies any more, because almost without exception, if he says something, it is a lie. Witness his half dozen reasons for killing Soleimani.
