For those you who believe in abortion and reincarnation what is your argument for abortion? If there is anyone like that I'm just interested.

How are you linking abortion to reincarnation?
Birth and rebirth ending it prematurely it's linked @Graylight
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad You don't know what's premature. Don't pretend to know the designs of the universe.
@Graylight whaat are you talking about? You're getting upset over nothing
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad I'm not upset at all. This is your post.

You implied birth and rebirth and abortion are all linked. I'm wondering at the logic behind it.
@Graylight it has to do with being born into this world or not so it is linked I don't see what is so hard for you to grasp about that.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad You're born into this world or not under any number of different scenarios. You ask a vague, ill-thought out question and expect cogent remarks. What's hard for you to grasp?

But to answer you're question re: abortion and reincarnation, there's no incompatibility with support either or both. It's perfectly reasonable to support both.
@Graylight yeah ok chick thank for the two cents
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad You asked for an opinion from anyone who supports both. Your were given just that. Sorry if it messed up your soapbox moment.
@Graylight what soap box ? You attacked the question and implied my motives for asking it.
@Graylight I never said it's impossible to support both I'm asking if you know it's a person being reincarnated into this life how do you can you support killing them ? When does it become that person ? Are you going to come back as a lower life form because you stopped the life of another person? In Buddhism they believe in reincarnation and the monks walk with brooms as not to step on insects. They believe all life is sacred so if you believe in reincarnation how can you justify snuffing out a life?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad Because I don't believe it's a life. It's an unsustainable clump of cells. A fetus is a fetus. A life is a life.
Why do you get to judge us a life ? Let science and that goes against reincarnation.bacteria is life and that's a clump of cells just because it's a micro or lower life form doesn't mean it's not a life. If all life is sacred and science shows us it's a dna strand that's different than any other that will ever exist but if you put reincarnation into it you're throwing away the ability for that person to be reborn. You never answered my main questions or any of the following and I don't think you can but I'd like to see your point of view of it. @Graylight
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Master5dad 4th word in: believe.

I don't tell others what to think and I certainly don't do that while condemning them for their opinion.
I'm not telling anyone what to believe you're allowed to think the earth is flat for all I care but if you can't even give a good reason or fact for what you want to make normal and can hurt another person than you should be able to answer the questions that I asked you. You can believe both but you should have a valid reason since it has the ability to affect other people. Otherwise your beliefs conflict with eachother @Graylight
