Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished for perpetrating lies, making shit up, attempting to over turn the last election and interfere / meddle in the 2020 election?

Schiff's 'rock solid' evidence against Trump never surfaced. None of the 'witnesses' witnessed anything. All the real evidence points to the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong - yet the left persists. Obviously, their motivation has nothing to do with any wrong doing.

These false distractions have been the focal point for democrats and the media for three years now! The topic had a negative effect on America in many respects.

I don't know if it's a crime for politicians to lie - I suppose if it were, DC would be a ghost town. But, this rises to a level that in my opinion can not be ignored or allowed to happen again. In my opinion the people that put us through this mess need to be punished - severely.

@jackjjackson dude! Read the phone call transcript! Listen to the televised hearings. Your boy DID exactly what Schiff and the Democrats said he did. You can say you don’t care, and I know you don’t, you can say it didn’t rise to the level of removing him from office, but he did what was presented. And the fact had to be brought forward.

Blackmail a foreign government for his own political gain. 🤷‍♂️ It was obvious going in that the Republicans Senate would not remove him, that was never reality; but showing that he was willing to put his intreats above the law was necessary.

I am convinced that it is authoritarianism that is wasted and provided by Trump. Hence your desire to accuse cnndnc of treason or saying Schiff should be arrested for showing what trump DID do. Not the way we work, at least so far.

@jackjjackson you are correct I don’t like Trump or the divisiveness, or the destruction of decency and truth that he represents. But I find it seriously dangerous when the “arrest the dissidents” stuff comes up. That is point the first. Point the second is that Schiff made his case! And you are correct that as Pompeo said “people don’t care about the Ukraine “ or most people and 98% of the people on your side. But truth should matter.

No there IS truth that exists outside of ourselves. The transcript IS the transcript, not what you or I want it to be, there was an actual number of people at both Obama’s and Trump’s inaugurations. I think “prevent” is a typo. But I am smart enough to figure out that you probably meant “present”. But that is exactly what I am trying not to do. And why Trump’s odd complete disregard for truth bothers me so much.

I did suggest that of all the offenders Schiff is likely the worse and that when the results of the criminal investigation and indictments come out Schiff is a prime candidate for jail time. Despite his behavior and actions like criminal Schiff hadn’t laid a glove on the President except in the Monte fantasyland. @monte3

@jackjjackson ok now we are sort of back on track! What do you imagine these “criminal investigations” to be about? What crimes do you imagine that he committed? Do you believe that pointing out that Trump is not above the law is or should be a crime?
And for the third time, at least, I think the facts are independent of each of us. I do, unlike you apparently, think that when we have a transcript and testimony about the background that it is important. And that trump ranting that the call was perfect does not make it perfect. Or is that enough for you? Kind of like Helsinki, Putin denies the interference so why would trump believe the evidence presented by his own intelligence services.

It's been suggested that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff could face “arrest for treason” over his statement about Trump’s call with Ukraine’s president.
