Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished ??

Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished ??

Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished for perpetrating lies, making shit up, attempting to over turn the last election and interfere / meddle in the 2020 election?

Schiff's 'rock solid' evidence against Trump never surfaced. None of the 'witnesses' witnessed anything. All the real evidence points to the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong - yet the left persists. Obviously, their motivation has nothing to do with any wrong doing.

These false distractions have been the focal point for democrats and the media for three years now! The topic had a negative effect on America in many respects.

I don't know if it's a crime for politicians to lie - I suppose if it were, DC would be a ghost town. But, this rises to a level that in my opinion can not be ignored or allowed to happen again. In my opinion the people that put us through this mess need to be punished - severely.

Should Trump be removed from office for lying? Should his cultists and sycophants be punished?

How about we allow witnesses and evidence to be presented in the impeachment hearing to establish the truth? If it contradicts the Articles of Impeachment, so be it. At least people would know the truth. And if it supports the Articles of Impeachment, Senators can remove Trump from office.

@windinhishair what I dont get it this idea that if the houses process didn't show all the evidence then what ever other evidence there is, it is not pertinent and should be excluded.
All Americans should wish to know the whole truth. If that means twenty or two witnesses, they should be heard. If they exonerate potus, cool. If not, then he should be removed.
There isn't any gray areas here.

@Carla The House didn't have access to all the evidence due to Trump's obstruction. However, even the evidence that was submitted shows clear evidence of actions worthy of impeachment and removal. And the GAO says that Trump's withholding of aid from Ukraine was a crime, even though no crime is needed for impeachment. The Senate and Chief Justice Roberts can compel key witnesses to testify, including some like Bolton and Mulvaney that were stonewalled by Trump.

Let ALL the evidence see daylight and lead where it may.

@windinhishair
Should Trump be removed from office for lying?
No, he didn't lie.

I think your rhetoric may be subject for investigation.
If it contradicts the Articles of Impeachment, so be it
YOur disregard of the constitution is not surprising but still disgusting.

@Carla Suppose the president is exonerated without any witnesses - which appears to be the case.
Maybe Congress could get on with something productive!
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick the third statement says if he is exonerated by unheard evidence, so be it.
I'm sorry you are having reading comprehension difficulties. You should see about that.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Trump has lied 17,000 times as president. And he was just caught lying about Lev Parnas and Bolton. He is incapable of telling the truth. He just can't do it.

The Constitution allows Articles of Impeachment to be voted on by the House and passed to the Senate for action. Sorry you don't approve of people following the Constitution.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick like the four hundred bills passed? The ones sitting on mitch's desk? Do nothing dems is just another useless, unwarranted stab from your idiot cult leader. Catchy names he can do. Speaking about policy and what his next four years will look like? Not so much.

He will not be exonerated, he will be let off the hook. Big difference.

@windinhishair
Trump has lied 17,000 times as president.
Were any of those alleged lies presented by the House in their hearing?

Any at all?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Yes, some of those related to Trump's withholding of aid from Ukraine, which was the focus of the impeachment. But since he lies so often, you could pick a statement at random and chances are that it would be a lie.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick you do know that potus lying to you isnt a crime, right? Just scummy and slimy. And always to either exaggerate his meager accomplishments, to divert attention from serious issues or to place blame on someone other than himself. You know, classic narcissistic behavior.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Carla Trump lied again this morning, claiming that the House never asked Bolton to testify. That's a bald-faced, orange-wigged lie. The House sent an official request to Bolton to testify. He refused because Trump asked him not to testify.
Carla · 61-69, F
@windinhishair of course it is a lie. There was a whole thing about his book, why he would write it but not speak it, etc. The whole Republican response is based on lies.
I reckon they dont care if the thinking population knows this. He is counting on his continued ability to hoodwink the cult. Thus far, his strategy is working.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Carla His strategy to fool his cultists and sycophants has worked. Bigly.
Carla · 61-69, F
@windinhishair yep, uuuge.
