@questionWeaver The Fed is propping up the market by pumping hundreds of billions a week into it. The real unemployment rate is far higher than the numbers reflected by those who are eligible to collect unemployment benefits.

@questionWeaver Ultimately leftists never understand economies or even simple math or everyday politics. In a republic the president only suggests the budget. Then the two houses of congress takes over and all the gravy gets added. The only real way to control budgets is term limits for both senators and representatives in the house. Two terms like the president would go a long way to fixing the problems.
