@SW-User Exactly, though those in denial believe she's some kind of spokesperson. She's not. She's a "used" teen who needs to go back to school; but then AGAI NWITNTHE SYNDROME SHE SPOUTS AND TALKS ABOUT, MAY BE SOMETHING BLOCKING HER FROM AVCCEPTING THE FACT SHE'S BEING USED.
SW-User
@soar2newhighs Seems to me she's been carefully manipulated, and there's an ulterior motive behind all this.
@SW-User As I said in an earlier post...many young people her age feel as she does, but no one funded them to come before the U.N., and other places she(Greta's been) where she was not necessarily welcomed with open arms.

@soar2newhighs @SW-User It’s a conspiracy 😂
SW-User
@soar2newhighs I'd be interested in knowing who has been funding and picking up all her expenses. When is she going to China to confront them? Not holding my breath on that one (latest virus outbreak notwithstanding). There's always India.
@QuixoticSoul Whatever...tomorrow comes, then hopefully, the next day(s) sans Greta.
SW-User
@QuixoticSoul The Illuminati? The Bilderberger's? Someone else, maybe? Not much of a conspiracy considering the b-s is so obvious.
SW-User
@soar2newhighs She will eventually fade away from the public memory.
@SW-User The sooner, the better.
SW-User
@soar2newhighs One can only hope it will be quick. But, they can milk this for a long time yet.

@SW-User After Greta decides to do something else, the IPCC and the worldwide scientific community will still be there, so you’ll still have something to whine about.
SW-User
@QuixoticSoul Yeah, because she's calling all her own shots in this. You'll believe anything. Im not so foolish.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@SW-User Not really - I “believe“ (goofy term in this context, conditionally accept would be more accurate) the IPCC and the worldwide scientific community - a sensible position for any layman who is not interested in dedicating a couple of decades to becoming an expert on the topic. Knowledge is a specialized thing these days.

Greta isn’t a relevant source. But, while she is in broad agreement with the world’s scientists, she is useful.
SW-User
@QuixoticSoul Right. Because their view sounds better coming from a teenager. The term they use keeps changing, global warming eventually becoming climate change, which no one denies. Climates do change. Any other scientist who disagrees with "the experts", of course get ridiculed and obviously are in the pocket of some nefarious corporation.
Let's face it, it's all just management perception.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@SW-User The people who disagree with the experts are usually just uninformed to some degree. For example, global warming is still a thing 🤷‍♂️
Global warming is the long-term rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. It is a major aspect of climate change and has been demonstrated by direct temperature measurements and by measurements of various effects of the warming. Global warming and climate change are often used interchangeably. But more accurately, global warming is the mainly human-caused increase in global surface temperatures and its projected continuation, while climate change includes both global warming and its effects, such as changes in precipitation.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
But no corporations really want change. It costs money to change. Business does not want to totally restructure their economic model! It is not the scientists that are in the pocket of business, but the deniers.@SW-User

Precisely. @QuixoticSoul
