what is it like to being brown or muslim/sikh/hindu in US after 9/11 ?

@Vivaci That doesn’t mean they haven’t been attacked, even murdered for “looking Muslim”, especially Sikhs. Bigots don’t bother to check their facts.

@basilfawlty89 @bijouxbroussard That's really sad...coz the fact of the matter is Sikhs(a religion born to defend the women n children from Muslim armies 🤷) were actually those warriors that fought AGAINST the Muslim brutality and invasion from Muslim rulers in India. 😔

@Vivaci In the US there have been several individual incidents and a mass shooting at a Sikh temple in 2012, in Wisconsin.

@bijouxbroussard yeah, I just read it on Google. It's also shocking how much of what is said online is 'modified' so that some religions are not hurt in the process.

I mean, I know that tens of Muslim Invaders have looted India, raped their women n kids, for hundreds of years... They always came from the North....that's where Punjab is ....and Guru Nanakji preached defense and protection of the weak....that's why ....

@Vivaci Sikhs were like natural evolution for some hindus. Hadn't they arrived, North India would have turned into hell hole a long ago. Man, a hell lot of Sikhs died while protecting Hindus. 😟😑

@Vivaci I’m not as familiar with the history over there. But the OP’s question was how they’ve fared here, in the US, post-9/11. Even though they had nothing to do with it (different country and faith), they’ve still been targeted for hate crimes. 😞
