Do you support Donald Trumps assassination of the Iran General? (I do)

Terrorists must be stopped. Put a line in the sand.

First and foremost, I am not a trump supporter, but I did agree with the assassination of the Iranian General. He was responsible for the deaths of over 600 Americans! And after the death of this last contractor, he proved he would not stop killing. So yes he should have been erased from the face of the earth. And if it wasn't America that did it, it would have been someone else.
@Stevy The problem with this is the American media frames the enemy of the week as a comic book villain so that people respond emotionally and forget the fact that there is something called the rule of law.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow He was totally within law ass
@Itsmeagain Might makes right is not the law.

That mafia style hit was not legal under American or international law.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow do you ever not hate America?
Itsmeagain · 51-55, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow yes it was as he was designated a terrorist.
Itsmeagain · 51-55, M
@MasterLee No he's a common crybaby

@Itsmeagain apparently

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I do agree with you somewhat. As there are many Americans that were bias on the situation. My point is weather he was portrayed as a comic book villain or not, he was a terrorist. And now that he is gone, another one will step up in his place. And that person will be delt with also. When you are committing crimes, laws bend to do what is right for the safety of the people. 🤷‍♂️
@Stevy By that metric the head of the US Army and th CIA are terrorists.

Hate to break the news but literally every modern nation who engages in covert operations has done the same or worse. And like it or not there are laws of war. This sets a new precedent that the rules no longer matter and that military and intelligence officials can be murdered at any time. I hope you don't expect the nations the US has pissed off not to take notice.
Stevy · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow we need to back up a minute. Are we speaking of the same person????? The Iranian general that was assassinated was designated a terrorist not only buy the us, but the entire United Nations! He was a wanted Criminal by pretty much the entire world. So as far as "The Nations" go, I believe they were pretty much in agreement with our actions. He wasn't just killing Americans. 🤷‍♂️
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Stevy he would prefer we pay Iran snother 150 bllion in cash to fund his buddies.
@Stevy The US changes who is a terrorist based on what is convenient for week to week. Your claim that the UN designated him a terrorist doesn't make sense because the UN doesn't have a terror watch list and Iran is a Russian ally so for that reason alone such a resolution would never get passed even if it was tabled. And most of the nations at the UN that go along with the US are essentially vassals anyway that back anything including completely bogus wars.
Stevy · 46-50, M
@MasterLee I get it, it kind of piss's me off a little when there are people out there who thinks that people who kill other people and destroy lives, should continue doing so and not be delt with. If it was our idiot President doing it, the rest of the world including our own people would want him delt with to!!! I just don't get the logic......🤷‍♂️
@Stevy That really has nothing to do with it. It is about there being rules for a reason. I know people in the military and intelligence fields and I don't want it to be open season on them too just because someone decided the rules weren't convenient.
Stevy · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Honestly Man, no bad blood here, but listen to yourself. You really think this man should have been left alive to kill hundreds even thousands of more innocent people. I'm just about done with this conversation. I suggest you think about what you are arguing about.
Stevy · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I agree with that point. My point is rules or not that is the only way for a man like that to be delt with.
@Stevy True. Honestly if it was that important there were far, far quieter ways of doing it.

No he wasn’t lmao. At least try and look it up or something.
Stevy · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Agreed. As I stated earlier, our President is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. 🤷‍♂️
Stevy · 46-50, M
@QuixoticSoul I can admit stupidity. 🤷‍♂️ you got me.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Stevy It’s not stupid - there was a media blitz from certain quarters to make it appear that way.

Soleimani was not some kind of a devil. He’s never really been implicated in any atrocities, etc. in classical terms, it’s hard to even call him a terrorist. He was a soldiers

But he was an enemy soldier - one that had a lot of American notches on his belt.
