Do you support Donald Trumps assassination of the Iran General? (I do)

Terrorists must be stopped. Put a line in the sand.

I do not. If the General and Trump was on the battlefield and Trump shot him, that would have been fine. I don’t think shooting anyone to teach them a lesson is right.

However, I’m glad he’s dead.
JBird · F
@SimplyTracie he should be dead. But not this way.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@JBird Yeah. Seems like this tit for tat exchange could lead to an American life lost.
Who on the American side would be the counterpart of General Soleimani?
@SimplyTracie Well said, TTTTTracieeeee. My thoughts Exactly. He should have been killed during the damn war, not now. Suppose other countries start knocking off our generals for doing their jobs well?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@quitwhendone Maybe Presidents are exempted from international laws. Actually someone acknowledged that we are not at war with Iran. 🤷🏼‍♀️
@SimplyTracie Ok, here is another thing to keep in mind...

Iran and the US are adversaries.

If one of our adversaries invaded and occupied one of our neighbors, we would engage them.

So if Iran invaded and occupied Mexico, for whatever reason, we would engage them or at the very least, try to make their occupation difficult so they would leave.

Why? Because having your adversary's troops right next door to you is a threat. Right?

So, it makes perfect sense that Iran would try to make our occupation of Iraq as difficult as possible so that we would leave. It's exactly what I would have done had I been in charge of Iran's military.

They wanted threatening US troops out of their region and off their doorstep. They did exactly what we would have done.

So when we, in the US call that general a terrorist for killing US troops occupying his country's neighbor and occupying a country with many people of the same faith and ethnicity as his country, I have to disagree. He was doing his job by looking out for the security interests of Iran and Iranians. It just so happens that Iran's security interests include keeping the US as far away as possible. It also so happens that Iran's security interests are diametrically opposed to ours.

@SimplyTracie Second in charge here would be Pence but because he is so incredibly stupid I would have to say Ms. Pelosi.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Aliveshock But Pelosi does not make military strategic decisions. I don’t think so anyway. Pence it is.
@SimplyTracie
She is in the group of 8 when trump makes legal decisions. So she is involved in military decisions when trump follows the constitution and the best interests of our country.
@Aliveshock The gang of 8 isn't involved in military decisions. They simply get notified.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Aliveshock Are you saying that she knew of the General’s assassination prior to the attack? And that she had a part in its decision?
@SimplyTracie She did not. Nor did any of the group of 8.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@quitwhendone Then... she won’t be assassinated
@SimplyTracie I am saying just because the trumpster excludes her from her proper role doesn’t mean that isn’t her job. He needs to be impeached precisely for behavior like this and it wouldn’t hurt to include the recent assassination
