Leftoids are basically broken right now, more confused and ineffectual than ever, but rightoids are straight retarded. This actually makes the leftoid incompetence even more hilarious than it usually is.

The only folks I genuinely feel bad for these days are the old-school conservative intelligentsia. They weren’t prepared for this populist wave, and their principled approach to building a worldview is suddenly irrelevant. You know, the Buckley types.

I don't agree. Fox evening news is much more balanced than, say, CNN, in the sense that you are more likely to hear something contrary to their respective party lines mentioned on Fox news than on CNN news.

And when it comes to commentators, Tucker Carlson routinely makes a much better case than Chris Mathews or Rachel Maddow.

But there is no real leftoid analogue of infowars, breitbart, talk radio, alternative (completely fucking retarded) media, etc with the same sort of reach - nor is there the same kind of neverending blitz of [i]actual[/i] fake news and disinfo coming out of leftoid contingent as there has been from the other side. Outright fabrications under guise of satire that are meant to be redistributed, etc.

Something really went wrong with the rightoids a few years back, I hope they make their way back.

Um... Politico, Democratic Underground, Vox, Mother Jones, The Huffpo, to name a few. And don't think liberals haven't tried their hand at talk radio; such luminaries as Ed Koch and Mario Cuomo had their own shows for a while. Too bad for them nobody listened, so they flopped.

I think it coincided with the rise of the loony leftoids, maybe going as far back as McGovern, and of course exacerbated by the likes of AOC and the rest of the Squad.
