Foolish to you, maybe. McConnell wants a show trial, but the longer this drags out, the more demand there is for a real trial with witnesses. Now Bolton wants to testify. This process is showing McConnell for the lickspittle sycophant he is.

If Trump is innocent and his acquittal is a foregone conclusion, what are you afraid of? Let’s have a real trial, with witness testimony. That way, when the corrupt Republicans let him off the hook, at least you’ll be able to boast that it was a real verdict.

I agree! Hearsay is not admissible as evidence in a court of law. It should go to trial. That should take about a day for a judge to throw it out as spurious and intangible. @LeopoldBloom

@DukeOfEarle It's not a court of law, idiot. And we heard plenty of testimony from direct witnesses, which was dismissed because Vindman got some job offer once. So he made the whole thing up even though it matches 100% what the whistleblower said.

You people can't make up your minds between "Trump didn't do nothin'" and "Trump did it but it's cool."
