I don't know about anyone else, but I think when I saw this at 10pm on 12th December 2019, I was the most relieved I'll probably ever be in my life! The political highpoint of 2019!

Remainers will quibble over this figure, because we used to get around 拢250 million back a month. But older people will tell you that the EU have raised prices of food artificially, so it's all on a level playing field. In the 1970s apparently the price of butter went up by 50% overnight! We've got French relatives who prior to us being in the EEC, used to come to Britain and do loads of shopping, as it was cheaper (including the ferry over) than in France. So we should see prices drop here 馃帀
