They have belatedly come to the realisation that Trump is forever debasing the thing they hold most dear i.e. 'traditional values'. They know the election is lost whatever , they just want to salvage some respectability from the whole sorry debacle.

That whole traditional values thing kills me. I bet most of those so called "traditional values" voters have cheated on their spouses, looked at porn or had abortions.
