Impeachment -

Is it me? Or, does it seem that the leftists are the ones that are bitching and squirming over the impeachment thing?

Is it because it appears that the process is going nowhere?
Or, because everyone knows the process will only hurt the democrats?

Been watching too much right wingnut media lately, I see. The impeachment process is going just fine. Democrats knew that Trump would obstruct justice and refuse to allow facts to be revealed to the extent he could stop the testimony of his cabinet and advisors. Dangling pardons goes a long way. But there are a few patriots left who will tell the truth no matter what the consequences are. We will start seeing them tomorrow in open session--didn't the Republicans support open sessions and more transparency before the president didn't?

@windinhishair Total witch hunt. Absolutely zero evidence against Trump. There is an election in under a year. Maybe spend time promoting your favorite pygmy.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram Zero evidence only to Trump sycophants. To sentient human beings, there is overwhelming evidence. Even Trump's former and current advisors know he is completely unsuited in knowledge and temperament to be president, and has done many illegal and impeachable actions.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair So who is the pygmy who will defeat Trump in 2000? Obviously to a sentient being the senate will never convict and remove Trump. You know it's a waste of time yet you'll continue to knock your head against the wall. Totally irrational!

@windinhishair
and has done many illegal and impeachable actions.
Name one
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram I agree that the Senate will not convict, unless more evidence of Trump's criminality is revealed by patriots who love the nation more than the Trump Party. But that doesn't mean that his malfeasance, crimes, and lies should go unchallenged. Quite the contrary.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick The Ukraine extortion is an impeachable offense. Obstruction of justice to prevent more evidence from being revealed is another. Ten instances of obstruction of justice were documented in the Mueller Report. So that's twelve just off the top of my head. They will probably be combined into three or four Articles of Impeachment.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair US president and Ukraine president both said the US did not pressure Ukraine in any way. I guess you believe liar shiff but not the parties themselves. Sad.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram Zelensky is under pressure to say he wasn't pressured on one phone call. If you read his statement, it was carefully worded. The quid pro quo was clear for months. And of course, nothing Trump says can be trusted. He is incapable of telling the truth.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair But shiftless can be relied on right? Your weakness is your inconsistency. If you could be objective you'd be more persuasive.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram Nothing is inconsistent. I trust the witnesses and their combined testimony, not politicians on either side.
Budwick · 70-79, M

You sound like an echo from the Kavanugh lynching, er - hearing.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick You'll enjoy it--you'll have your Jim Jordans and Kevin McCarthys ranting and raving and trying to prevent the facts from being revealed to the American public. But not to worry--Hannity will have your talking points every evening so you can come on SW and repeat them.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair I'm certainly not gonna wit for Don Lemmon to speak truth!

I'm an old man!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick I don't watch Don Lemon. We are in agreement.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair
We are in agreement.
I need to wash my hands.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair
I agree that the Senate will not convict,
Then what's the point of this nonsense?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Just because Republican Senators are Trump's sycophants doesn't mean that others who value democracy should allow Trump's gross malfeasance and malevolence to go uncontested. Even if there is no hope of conviction, it still serves a valuable purpose. And those Republicans will go down in history as refusing to answer the call of democracy when their names were called. They will live in shame.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair
Even if there is no hope of conviction, it still serves a valuable purpose.
I suppose if democrats are willing to fall on their swords, ....
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick At least someone is willing not to be the next Neville Chamberlain.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@windinhishair What?

Everyone is willing not to be the next Neville Chamberlain.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Budwick Republicans are willing to pacify Trump, and Putin, at the expense of the nation's interests. Even you clearly are by accepting Trump's bogus tale of the "perfect" extortion phone call.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair No one is so blind as he that will not see.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram That's the GOP motto for the 2020 election.
