I'm Brexiting similar worlds.

I don't like it here and so I want to leave. However, I don't like the consequences of leaving either. I'm conflicted and can't make up my mind so I think i'll hang round a little bit longer but sulk and act really weird.

This mentality might confuse and annoy my friends but I don't care because I am more awesome than them. If I kick up a really big fuss and irritate people a lot, maybe they will let me do anything I want.

Maybe you can call for an election on SW. Or not. Or a new vote. Or not. Whatever you do, it will happen.

@windinhishair we are heading for an election in December or early January. Britain that is.

@Burnley123 Yes, I saw Corbyn finally said he agreed with that approach today, though not all of Labour is on board.
Burnley12341-45, M
@windinhishair Exactly. Corbyn has wanted one for a while but MPs have been putting it off. Lots of different reasons why but an election needs to happen.

@Burnley123 you are smart ,this is what you wanted and no back lash
I'm still taking you're ball

@Burnley123 Perhaps the Scots and the Liberal Democrats jumping on board the election train had an impact. From what I hear, both stand to pick up support.
Burnley12341-45, M
@windinhishair I don't think enough labour mps will vote it down to stop an election happening. The snp and lib Dems will pick up seats in remain areas.

Labour's position is weird because its the official opposition by polling badly because corbyns popularity is low and because a lot of remainers are pissed off with Labour compromises on Brexit.

The situation is volatile though and we did have a big surge last time. Its hard to predict.

Labour MPs is leave seats are worried about losing them. Some want to hold on til after Xmas thinking the odds will improve. Some anti corbyn mps on the right of the party don't want corbyn as prime minister and want to form a 'national unity' govt of MPs without corbyn or Johnson and to hell with democracy.

Corbyn was persuaded to hold fire until no deal. Was off the table. Now he says it is so there you are. Delays make johnson stronger and make the opposition look weak so for me the holdout MPs don't have good reasons. Besides, an election is the only way to solve the impass.

@Burnley123 ....... unless we have another hung parliament.

Then what ?
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch I don't know and neither does anyone else. I think a referendum would probably happen if that was the case but it would be messy and chaotic.
windinhishair61-69, M
@RodionRomanovitch @Burnley123 I have always thought another referendum might be the best approach, since many people didn't really know what they were voting on the first time.
Burnley12341-45, M
@windinhishair I don't disagree, it's just there are not the numbers in this parliament for a second ref. It's failed to get a majority, even with Labour leadership support.
RodionRomanovitch56-60, M
@Burnley123 Still a better outcome than Johnson securing an overall majority and then getting his deal through.

*clutches at straws*
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch Part of me thinks Labour could regret not accepting May's deal. It was pretty bad but Johnson's is worse.
RodionRomanovitch56-60, M
@Burnley123 Good luck on the campaign trail mate.
Burnley12341-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch Thanks and we will need it. My free time for the next month just disappeared.
windinhishair61-69, M
@Burnley123 I know. It is frustrating even to those of us on the other side of the pond to see every potential "solution" voted down. Even the "no solution" solution.
