Maga - by beating Trump

Bad week for Trump. Good thing he's been busy appointing all those judges Obama refused to. Seems like the winning is positively hurting.

Tax returns -- DC Circuit Court of Appeals. US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rejected Trump's attempt to stop his accounting firm, Mazars USA, from turning over eight years of financial records to House Democrats.

Border wall -- Western District of Texas. Judge David Briones said Trump's national emergency declaration to build a border wall is unlawful, and appears poised to block the use of those funds.

Immigration green card regulations -- Southern District of New York. Three federal judges blocked efforts to make it more difficult for immigrants who rely on public assistance to obtain legal status -- the so-called "public charge" rule, legislation demanding far more than of any citizen.

Immigration green card regulations -- Eastern District of Washington. Immigration green card regulations -- In Spokane, Washington, Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson was also unimpressed with the rule from the Department of Homeland Security.
"There are serious questions going to the merits regarding whether DHS has acted in an arbitrary and capricious manner in formulating the Public Charge Rule," Peterson wrote.

Northern District of California
Not to be outdone, Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton invoked Emma Lazarus' iconic poem on the Statue of Liberty's pedestal in her ruling blocking the Public Charge rule.

There is only one way to make America great again. Bring back the sixties. Bring back hippies. Bring back Woodstock.

@SW-User Why do you look speechless? That was the greatest era there ever was.
SW-User
@NankerPhelge that’s your opinion.... nastiest era there ever was!
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@SW-User I don't think so. Everybody was nice to me then. What was nasty about it?
SW-User
@NankerPhelge nasty hippies and Woodstock itself... ewww

@SW-User If it was such a nasty era why was everybody nice to me then? The eighties were the worst era, I had more traumatic experiences in the eighties than most people do in eighty years.

@NankerPhelge whatever floats your boat... 😐

@SW-User I see. You prefer to reminisce about traumatic times while totally forgetting about the good old days. And there I was thinking I was a masochist. Well, as you said yourself... whatever floats your boat.
@NankerPhelge Without the drug use. That was a mistake. But would we have been as idealistic without them ? It really did look like we were on the verge of finally getting things right back then.

@bijouxbroussard I see what you mean about the drugs, but those aside they were on the verge of finally getting things right back then.
