Is Bernie out of the running?

I read today that he had a heart scare. He sounds safe but at his age, it's gonna be asking a lot to expect him to be President for four to eight years if he has health issues. It's sad really because he's my favourite American politician. I wish him the best of health.

He's technically in the running, but I think he's more of a rallying force than a serious candidate at this point. Almost like the last election cycle where he had a change of heart and started supporting Hillary.

Also, from a medical standpoint, nobody enters the oval office and comes out healthy. If you already have a serious heart condition, the additional stress can only make it worse. Even minor heart conditions can be made exponentially worse by stress.

Cheney had worse heart issues and made it through. @raysam363

@jackjjackson As vice president, yes. Stressful, but he's not on the frontlines as much. Honestly anyone with a serious condition shouldn't consider running, especially at 70+. That seems to exclude all of the main candidates though...

Change of heart, may be an unintended pun, but he did the only logical thing. His supporters, however, did not follow suit, and either abstained or cast protest votes. This is why we have Trump in office.

Not true. Trump is getting healthier by the day. Did you read the results of his physical? His mental state is also great. He passed with flying colors, a test any 3-year old, may have a little difficulty with.
