Budwick Im not an expert, but I doubt that there's much law on due process or the right to confront your accuser in the House before an impeachment vote. You certainly don't have a right to confront your accuser before a grand jury.
I get that Trump is pissed, that he thinks he did nothing improper, that he objects to Schiff's opening statement, resents the process, and that he can't just round up Schiff, the press, and anyone that challenges him and lock them up or have them shot.
But there's a huge difference between feeling that way, or ranting at a TV, and tweeting it out when you're President, telling people not to cooperate with a witch Hunt by Congress, etc.
That last line of the tweet, "I want Schiff
questioned at the highest level for Fraud and Treason" is eerily similar to the Ukraine charge, only far worse, because there's nothing remotely resembling fraud or treason about what Schiff did, and it demonstrates Trump's failure to put the country and the Constitution above himself far more clearly.
