I don't believe in hate like that. If we're truly kind we don't vilify and speak evil to that extreme. Thing is, we could get someone worse next term.

@Magenta You make some good points. Ultimately, we will need to get beyond hating and vilifying - for our own peace of mind. But it’s normal to be angry at people who cause damage. Suppressing that anger isn’t good either (plus, stupidity and evil at international levels need to be called out.)
I would say, bash for a little while but then ease up and let go of it. And yes, we will have to make a good-faith effort to work with, and peacefully coexist with, the Trump supporters around us in our everyday lives. They aren’t going away, so that’s really the only option.

@Magenta someone worse?? Worse than Trump??! Don’t even go there!! 😱

@SmartKat very well said, wise words. Trump revels in spreading hatred and divisiveness, we shouldn’t sink to his level, we have to be better than that.

@Discotheque 🤭

@Discotheque I did go there, and it's quite possible.

@Magenta you’re braver than me then 😉

@Discotheque Ha, perhaps sometimes. ;-)
