What's so bad about using the Office of The President to extort a foreign country to interfere in an election for your own benefit ?

I see lot's pf back patting anti-Trumpers here.
Any of you have something that even resembles evidence?
SW-User
@Budwick well the stories about ukraine, the hotel in scotland, mar a lago, all seem to be but as you might point out diff media gives diff perspective, but at this point there is enough to move forward.

@Budwick how about trump's own words.
I know, I know, you have to pick a day, as he keeps flipping the script.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Budwick Trump's own mouth, which is always the best and easiest evidence. You probably couldn't hear, what with kissing his as so constantly.

Just be careful as you are moving forward not to fall off the cliff right in front of you!

@Carla
how about trump's own words.
That would do!
What are they?

Terrific!
What did he say?
SW-User
@Budwick so true, and stay focused on what the potential impeachable issues are, nothing else.
just a question for my curiousity BW, if YOU (not the NYT) felt he did in fact clearly violate the emoulements clause, would you support impeachment and conviction?
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Here's my answer Erik -
No hypotheticals.
Make your accusation, and prove it.
SW-User
@Budwick i am not privy to all the info and clearly what is out there doesnt convince you at this point,
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User
clearly what is out there doesnt convince you at this point,
Eric - You can't even put a complete accusation together!
The reason is that no one has made one up yet!

In this country people are innocent until proven guilty.

You guys declare a verdict and try to find a crime!

I'm not paying that game.

@Budwick the impeachment is the grand jury and the senate is the trial, so i am willing to leave it to them because for me there is enough otu there to warrent it, feel free to disagree
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User I disagree.
So does the Senate - regardless of what the dems in the house are told to do.
SW-User
@Budwick uh the senate does what it is told to by Mitch, dont pretend the told what to do thing is a one party only phenomena
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User So, you can see the futility then.
SW-User
@Budwick nope i dont believe in quitting, im an American
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Well, don't try to cash in your Hillary won ticket - it's worthless.

So is your collusion bet - you lost.

The racism thing didn't even hang a week!

The Biden story scared 'em within a day to jump to impeachment.
How long before that is done?
SW-User
@Budwick emoluments
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User The leftists think they’ve found a part of the Constitution they like, but it's clear that the Constitutional understanding of the two attorneys general is seriously distorted.

Under so broad an interpretation of the emoluments clause, even foreign sales of Barack Obama’s Dreams of My Father may very well be in violation!

You've been misled once again - sucker.
SW-User
@Budwick i dont really think obamas book is equal to what pres trump is doing, but ill tell you what i sure hope we find out, and if you are right then in 2020 the dems are gonna get their asses kicked, but if it is a strong case, even if senate doesnt convict and we all know they wont, trump gets his ass kicked.
either way the American people are gonna decide
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Great.
Let's talk again after the election!
SW-User
@Budwick of course
