National suicide. If Britain ever successfully gets out of the EU -- which is far from a given -- it'll still have to trade with the other European countries to keep its economy alive, and that means following EU regulations. With the EU, Britain had a seat at the table, but now it'll just be stuck out in the cold, forced to abide by rules that it can't even control.

@BlueVeins Don't worry.

Boris is a Saviour 😁

@Nimbus hero of indecision😇

@BlueVeins why can’t they trade with USA?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@GardenSage They did that before Brexit and will presumably continue to. Unless they plan on demanding representation in American government, though, they'll still have the same problem as with the now-disconnected EU.

@BlueVeins no worries. They need britain more than britain needs them.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MasterLee Who, the US? Both the EU and US are far larger trading blocks with stronger economies and greater industrial output.

@BlueVeins no the eu
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MasterLee The UK has a GDP of about 3 trillion USD while the rest of the EU is at about 19 trillion. It's no contest.

@BlueVeins right. Once britain leaves more will follow.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MasterLee not if they know what's good for them.

@BlueVeins like economic prosperity?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MasterLee Historically speaking, weakened trade relations have basically never resulted in economic prosperity.

@BlueVeins we'll see
