The censors at Google have deemed a tribute to firefighters on 9/11 to be "too controversial" to monetize. YouTube and Google have consistently failed to clarify or consistently apply the "Controversial issues and sensitive events" section of the "Advertiser-friendly content guidelines," creating a standard that irrationally punishes channels that cover history. If you think this decision is as egregious as I do, and realize how difficult Google makes it to register a complaint, then please feel free to address a complaint to Mr Sundar Patchi, the CEO of Google, at sundar@google.com. Please keep your comments respectful, but let him know your opinion.

@bookerdana He got his video back so most likely it was an error in the algorithm that was set to combat the millions of extreme racists using that platform to recruit.

Something triggered the deletion automatically but that doesn't mean he didn't get his video back.

@SatanBurger He usually doesn't accept advertising but evidently a firm called Magellan tv rode to the rescue. It didn't hurt that so many people emailed Patchi, as I did. The firefighter video was not showiing when I made my post though its marked "4 days ago"

In what can only be called the worst decision in the history of decisions, the censors at Google have deemed a tribute to firefighters on 9/11 to be "too controversial" to monetize.
