ILHAN OMAR TERRORIST TIES?

Omar supports companies that fund Al Shabaab,

What's up with Omar's ties to Al Shabaab? She's now calling for protection of a Somali company -- Hormuud Telecom -- that actively funds Al Shabaab in Somalia, an offshoot of Al Qaeda.

So, can I label Ilhan a domestic terrorist now?

Interesting article, especially concerning how the U.N. views this Hormuud Telecon, its founders and associations and ties in Somolia. https://similarworlds.com/18-Politics/2910509-ILHAN-OMAR-TERRORIST-TIES-Omar-supports-companies

It would appear Omar has lost her focus on those who put her in office, and she apparently feels she needs to address issues other than those affecting Minnesota, such as this Hormuud matter and her concerns about the middle east. If she's concerned about issues in Somolia, time for her to resign from Congress and go to these places.

@soar2newhighs You seem to not understand that Congress also participates in foreign policy, and this is by design.
And explain what this has to do with Omar asking for "protection" of this telecom outfit. If there's any truth to the connections between this company and terrorists groups, why would Congress even be involved? Yes, I realize they participate in foreign policy, but what would their place/position/ participation be in this instance, (Her request)?@QuixoticSoul

@soar2newhighs There are a number of avenues for the participation of congress in foreign policy starting with the most basic form that we’re talking about here - simply speaking about the topic to raise awareness. In case you don’t know, this is what you’re twisting your panties over:

Among other things, this is largely directed at Somali government.

By the way, a major part of Omar’s constituency are Somali-Americans who, like most immigrants, have an interest in the wellbeing of their old home.

Somali telecoms are indeed of major importance to Somali recovery and development, and in general are in direct opposition with various jihadi groups. She is attempting to protect the average Somali’s access to education and information.

Shit, Al-Shabaab literally bans the internet.
I just went with what the link I posted said. And it's my opinion, she might better serve her "American", even though they're from Somolia constituents rather than worry about the telecom entity she wants protected.@QuixoticSoul

@soar2newhighs I see, so being an immigrant means you’re an “American”, with quotes 🙄

At my naturalization ceremony, a sitting US president told me that I was as American as the founding fathers. And any nativist scum that disagrees can go fuck themselves.
She's American, and perhaps many of those who voted for her are originally from Somolia. How many like yourself have become citizens, God only knows. But obviously she was voted in by her constituency and as far as I'm concerned, her focus should be on those in the district(s) she represents. And if you don't mind me asking, who was the president you mentioned?@QuixoticSoul
