@SimplyTracie They give us cheap entertainment. Especially the candidates running for president.......and A.O.C and Ilhman from Michigan and many, many others. I honestly do believe that if their antics continue that in 3-4 years the Democratic party will splinter into 2,3 parties.

@SimplyTracie I misspelled her name.........Ilhan Omar and Rashid Tlaib.......Ilhan is an immigrant from Somalia (Muslim)that is a Congressional Representative from Michigan.
She has made many public comments that she does not like Jews and thinks Israel should be destroyed.
She married her brother so he could immigrate to the U.S.
And she is being investigated for campaign violations .....something related to funneling money to her boyfriend.

Rashid Tlaib has attitudes similar to Ilhan Omar.

@SimplyTracie He is correct. The tall, giant wind turbines make a lot of noise. Some can be heard half a mile away. People don't want to look at them. I do believe that they serve a valid function and we should use them in rural areas where they are practical. But their uses are limited, because energy generated from wind turbines are the most expensive in terms of cents per kwh. And if you have one in your immediate area, it is going to take longer to sell. But......they should still be used, I will do anything to reduce our dependence on foreign oil to save lives of soldiers and sailors overseas, as well as reduce our consumption of coal.

@DallasCowboysFan Yes I agree with reducing the need for foreign oil and coal. A lot of people do not agree with alternative energy and I don’t understand that.

But the the noise from the turbines cause cancer?

@SimplyTracie @SimplyTracie Some people think that they emit an electromagnetic discharge that can make people sick. It could be related to a specific model or it could be something else and they just think it is the wind turbine. Sometimes, people get sick and blame someone else, rather than themselves. They see dollar sign$.

Noise does not cause the cancer, but it can be irritating under the right conditions.

I wish every home was super insulated and all new homes were zero energy, meaning they produce as much energy as they consume. It is generally achieved with solar panels. They should also ban lightbulbs and home appliances that do not meet certain energy standards. It would be more money upfront but it would be cheaper than building a new coal plant, a new nuclear plant etc...and the air would be cleaner.

@SimplyTracie I did not hear about that. But I am sure there is a logical reason for it.

@DallasCowboysFan My guess is Trump just wants to trash any idea that’s good for the environment.

@SimplyTracie It does not prevent anyone from buying the more efficient, more expensive LED bulbs.

@DallasCowboysFan No it does not. But people may not realize that they will save money in the long run after the initial investment.

I just don’t understand why Trump would take these steps in the first place. 🤷‍♀️
