Good week.

[quote]President Donald Trump repeatedly threatened to release ISIS fighters in Europe as a form of punishment for countries like Germany and France;

said he’s strongly considering trying to change the Constitution by executive order (it doesn’t work that way);

indicated he hasn’t ruled out trying to illegally serve more than two terms; rewrote history during comments about Russia’s expulsion from the G8 that framed the situation in the most pro-Kremlin manner possible;

and, despite five draft deferments, joked about giving himself the Medal of Honor.

Then he called himself a "chosen one" and compared himself to the King of Israel.

That was just the week up until Wednesday.

You cannot tell me this is what winning looks like.

The G7 should be fun.

@RodionRomanovitch If by "fun" you mean a tragicomedy focused on Trump and his glaring incompetence on the world stage, I would agree.
@RodionRomanovitch Trump will want Russia (his friend Putin) reinstated, Germany and France will probably object. We already know what happens when he doesn't get what he wants.
@softspokenman He's going to act like a belligerent 4th grader, the world will roll it's eyes at the stupidity of Americans to elect him, and those idiots will cheer because he's "real".

We've seen prior episodes, and and while some of the actors may change, the odds are that the plot will stay the same. It's hard for a show this bad from the beginning to really jump a shark.

I happen to live near to Biarritz , and I can tell you most French people view Trump with a mixture of amusement , ridicule and horror. It is simply beyond them how such a man came to be POTUS.

@RodionRomanovitch It is beyond the comprehension of an increasing majority of Americans, too.
