Who thinks Trump will not get re-elected?

Tbh, I think Trump doesn’t want to get re-elected either. A recent AP poll places him at a 62% disapproval. His increased craziness over the last couple of days (Greenland/Denmark, declaring himself the 2nd coming of God, King of Israel, Chosen One, wanting to give himself the Medal of Honor, etc.) is not going to help him come 2020. Furthermore, every major policy being a complete laughingstock failure, trade war killing his farmer base, and the yield inversion signaling of recession, is not a good sign either.

Please accept that I think President Trump is a dolt. I am not and never have been affiliated with either party.

He did not declare himself as the Second Coming or as King of Israel or even the US. It was more of his self-aggrandizing ham-handed sense of humor. What it did do is once more distract from the increasingly urgent question of - if he does run again, who will be his opponent?

I personally think that whatever else Donald Trump is, he is crafty. Every time any serious public discussion of the next election begins - he does something else to outrage and horrify everyone and changes the focus. Take “I would like you to put Greenland in a bag and sell it to me, and if you don’t, I won’t come to supper” for example.

It is a big, glorious game and he is having a wonderful time. He does not [b]need[/b] to be President. He always thought he was.

The far left thinks he is certifiable, the far right thinks he is the best President ever and the rest of us think everybody’s insane but us. It is the ‘rest of us’ upon whom the election will hang.

If Trump is re-elected, he should invite the Democrats to a thank-you dinner of burgers and fries and humble pie for dessert.

Don’t focus on Trump. It’s 439 days till the next election. Focus on that.

EDIT: The more we hear about Trump, the less we learn about anybody else.

@Mamapolo2016 I disagree, I really don’t think his comment was anything funny. His opponents? Could be Bernie, Tulsi, Biden or Warren. Though I don’t think Biden will be in the race for long.

Actually I think it’s corporatists Democrats who see him this way. Which is a disappointment.

And for one, I am focused on the election, that was the reason for my post. Because all the stuff that has happened in the past up till now that POTUS has said and done, will come back to haunt him in the 2020 election.
