Nazi-Wannabes-in-Training ... in CALIFORNIA. Would YOU Hire These High Schoolers?
A group of high-school students in Southern California gave a Nazi salute and sang a Nazi song during an awards ceremony last year, according to video reviewed by The Daily Beast.

The video shows about 10 members of the boys’ water polo team at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, California, throwing the salute once used to greet Adolf Hitler while singing a Nazi marching song played for German troops during World War II. Two more videos have emerged since this story was originally published.
These kids have been failed in more ways than you can count, imo but what jumps out at me is that politics aside, they didn't get that whatever ends up on social media can haunt them down the road.

This incident is political, but high school kids are different than grown men with Tiki torches, and even if POTUS cites them as "fine people" and they end up being the founding members of a massive Trump Youth movement, it won't be an easy road to glory for them and I doubt they knew what they were doing.

@MistyCee Well, at least they'll be able to blame their problems on something else besides their own actions, I guess. They'll fall right in line with Our Party of Perpetual Victimhood.

"It's so unfair that the Internet existed and has videos of me exuberantly embracing symbols of Nazism!" - future quote from one of these dolts
@daisymay lol. I did some dumb stuff at that age as well, and I'm glad there is no video footage.

I guess this just proves that all of the wackos in California are not liberals.

@LonelyMan

Orange County was a bastion of conservative wacko-ness for a long time.

@beckyromero I agree- while I'm generally conservative- extremism on either side is dangerous.
This is sad in so many ways, I can't think about it anymore.

Why is it that this stuff comes out of California?
Upsetting, disgraceful, abhorrent? Yes, to many. But are they not protected by the First Amendment? Who hires them is up to a prospective employer.
I wouldn't yell "Fire!" in a crowded venue as a joke or prank as it's not protected. I believe though as I said, their actions, offensive to many and not appropriate, it most likely is protected under the 1st Amendment, but if it was a school event, then hopefully the school staff put an immediate stop to it and removed them from the venue.@beckyromero

They didn't .. and that why it has become a controversy.
Well, that's unfortunate. A situation such as what these high Schoolers did, could have easily led to and caused violence; and that's what the staff should have been cognizant of and put them out of the venue.@beckyromero
Silly , little children!
